IQ, EQ…SQ?

We all know about IQ 🧠 (the classic measure of smarts) and EQ ❤️ (our emotional intelligence), but there’s another type of intelligence that’s just as important and often overlooked—Spatial Intelligence 🏡.

Think about it: how do you feel when you walk into a cluttered room versus a well-organized space? 🛋️

How do you decide where to place your favorite chair or how to arrange your office?

That’s your spatial intelligence at work.

Spatial intelligence is all about how we understand and interact with the space around us. It’s the ability to visualize, rearrange, and even design spaces in a way that just feels right. And while we don’t talk about it as much as IQ or EQ, it’s something we all use every single day—whether we realize it or not.

The spaces we live and work in have a huge impact on our mood, productivity, and overall well-being 🌟. Yet, we rarely stop to think about how we can improve these spaces to better suit our needs.

At Design Shrink Studios, I’m all about helping people tap into their spatial intelligence. It’s not just about making a space look good; it’s about making it feel right for you 🪄. Your space should support you emotionally, mentally, and even physically.

So, how do your spaces make you feel?

Have you ever thought about how your environment impacts your day-to-day life?
